Marine Guardian Makes Waves at SMM Hamburg 2024 with DeFra Water®

From the 3rd to the 6th of September 2024, DeFra Water® proudly showcased Grease Guardian’s high performance Marine Guardian Automatic Grease Removal Device at the SMM Hamburg, one of the world’s leading maritime trade fairs. Exhibiting alongside our trusted partner, DeFra Water®, we presented the latest in grease separation technology for marine environments at Hall A1, Stand 431.

DeFra Water®, an established partner of Grease Guardian® specialises in developing sustainable solutions for fresh and clean water. At their stand, one of our advanced Marine Guardian units was on full display, drawing attention from attendees eager to see how this compact yet powerful system can make a difference in marine operations.

The Marine Guardian: Designed for Efficiency at Sea

The Marine Guardian Automatic Grease Removal Device has been meticulously engineered to address the unique challenges of grease management in marine environments. With multiple design configurations, it’s versatile enough to fit into the confined spaces typical of shipboard galleys and plant rooms, ensuring seamless integration into any vessel.

But what truly sets the Marine Guardian apart is its automated waste oil recovery system, which simplifies grease management by automatically separating and recovering waste oils for disposal. This feature is especially crucial for maintaining clean and efficient operations at sea, reducing the manual labour typically required for grease removal and disposal
