Complying with maritime legislation prohibiting waste discharge at sea, the fleet needed a solution that not only protected their treatment plant but also addressed the impracticality of discharging waste during extended voyages.
Traditionally, ships require grease traps to shield treatment plants from the detrimental effects of excessive grease.
